1998 Saturn SL2 1998 Saturn SL2 does not start if AC and ra

Having a curious problem with my Saturn SL2. You can drive it with both the radio and AC on, but when you turn the engine off (runs fine stopped at stop lights), you must turn both the radio and AC off if you want it to start again.

Sometimes it takes several times to restart (like 10-15 minutes) if you haven't turned everything off before you leave the car.

Does it need a new battery? Or a new starter? Or both? Thanks.

So when it doesn't start does it crank no start or no crank no start?Why don't you go to a auto part's store like auto zone and have them test your battery and alternator. Also have them check to see if you have any code's.

It's a no crank no start. You might hear an occasional click, that's it. I'll check in with auto zone, thanks.
