1996 Saturn SL2 Starting Issue, drags at times other times

Car starts fine for days then will drag when it starts. Turns over slow. May do this allday then the next day fine again. New battery. Alternator suposedly okay.

SO you have you checked and made sure the battery cable's are clean and tight?Also have you checked the car for draw's?

From what I can see it is ok. I took the car to auto repair shop and supposedly everything was firing okay and of course it started just fine that day. But yesterday was turning over in slow motion and now today it is fine. I do not know anything about cars.

I would ask someone to perform a parastic draw test on your car. Something is drawing the battery down or the battery is self discharging or the starter is sometimes drawing too much amperage.
