Hello! I have a 1996 saturn sl DOHC that has been nothing but trouble, I had let my friend drive it once and he said that it overheated and wouldnt start back up after he put water in the radiator. When I got to where he had left my car I noticed that there was engine oil all over the engine, and strangely enough a hole in the radiator cap, which made no sense because there wasnt any radiator fluid on the engine. I later realized that the head gasket had a tiny hairline crack and my dad tried j/b welding it, but all that did was add to the mess in a way. Now come to find my engine is still leaking, and the radiator fan wont turn on by itself I have to turn it on manually everytime before I drive it. I bought a sensor and a relay but even after replacing those the fan still isnt working. So basically my question is how do I rewire the connection to fan so that it will work on its own?

Have you tried googling saturn radiator fan controls/problem? I just did and there are several tips available. You can also search this saturn sl2 forum for previous similar problems and answers.
