2002 Saturn SL1 Starter

Just replaced the starter in a 2002 SL1. Started fine the first few times. Engine started dragging then check engine light came on, the airbag light came on and now car wont even turn over. Bad starter? Have power to radio, air, lights.

I would first be checking the battery (do a load ntest) and checking all th cable conections ate clean and tight, a scan will also be a good option to check for any unresolved fault codes thatmay shed some light on thi sproblem.
