Hi there,
Do you feel it is a mechanical knock or more like a exhaust leak, check around the exhaust manifold for dirty carbon stains, use a length of hose to listen around the gaskets, you may need to get a mechanic to listen as its near impossible to tell with out hearing it first hand.
