2002 Saturn SL1 adding pure acetone to gas for better MPG

What are the pro's and con's to adding pure acetone to the gasoline mixing 2oz acetone to 12 gal of gas for better mpg.

I wouldn't add acetone to gasoline it's a corrosive and you could damage your engine.I have never heard that it will increase gas mileage or even doing that it must be a old urban legend. That's the best I can tell you about that one is don't do it.I also don't see how it would increase your mileage.
