1998 Saturn SL1 service engine soon

So Pro's I just washed my engine with degreaser and a pressure hose and now my "service engine soon light" came on nothing that I could immediately see or hear is wrong. What should I do?

I would take it to a auto parts store like auto zone and have them scan it for code's and let me know what the numbers are. Maybe you just got the wire's wet and caused a miss fire.I would never pressure wash the engine not a good a idea.
