My car started making abad grinding noise, drove like there was no problem. Found the belt was very loose. I replaced the belt but was unable to tighten how do i tighten up my belt. I found were it is suppose to tighten but it didnot move tight already.

your vehicle's serpentine belt is automatically adjusted by the tensioner. you need to use a belt tension gauge to check tension. if the tension is not at 30 - 50 lbs. then the belt or the tensioner needs replaced.
