1998 Saturn P0109 = Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Intermittent. Why is this an intermitant problem. These are the hardest to rind, However the "OBD2" foung this code. Will a used junk=yard "Map=Sensor" be sufficiant enough? I know that, because I had to replace one back in 1992 on my Chey Z-24, which is no longer in production. Cost? = $385.00 for a NEW replacement! I am disable on SSDI, I can't afford alot. I bought the car used just 16 days ago. I also had a very rough idle since day one. After "
OBD@ teast I had two codes:
1) PO302 - CYLINDER 2 MISFIRE (I replaced all of the plugs with "Bosh". Rough idle is gone.

Please Advise as to what I should do and the cost to fix this problem.
Thank you,
distrought,
M. Foote

HI there,

Thank you for the donation,

I would try the 2nd hand map sensor, also check the vacuum hose and make sure that the harness plug is a snug & tight fit, also look at the pins and inspect for any loose or corroded pins in the plug.
