1997 Saturn Sedan 4 cyl Manual 180000 miles

Ok I have a question, I replaced the tappets, thinking thats what is way, it only made the noise at higher rpm's, so I bought a donor car, that had nothing wrong with it, the same exact motor, I exchanged the tappets and its still making the noise, and now is leaking oil near the oil filter. It did not ever leak oil until now. Plz help

Do u have a single overhead cam or a dual over head cam. Is the oil comming from the valve cover or the head. Let me know.
