I replaced right rear brake shoe and wheel cylinder. After reconnecting the hose to the wheel there seems to be a small leak at that connection, and I cannot get fluid flow through the bleeder valve. I seems to have a problem with the hose connection. Is there a trick to making that connection?

I would first check for a restriction in the line by having pressure being applied to the brake pedal while you start backing off the line into the wheel cylinder. If you have good flow, then see why there is a leak. Chunk of rust? MAke sure everything is clean and reconnect the line. IF there is a leak still either replace the wheel cylinder and or the line fitting going into the WC. Any leak will also be a source of air going back into the system and causing a situation that appears to not have flow.
