1995 Saturn Sedan Key cylinder replacement

How do you remove the key cylinder assy from the switch mechanism on the column?--The plastic cover is off and I have boyh the old key and obviously the new ones also

First of all thank you very much for your donation. The best way to remove the cylinder is to unplug those wire's going to the wiper switch that will give you more room. Then turn your old cylinder to the acc postion then look under where you removed those wire's there will be a button push the button down then pull the cylinder out. Now put you new cylinder in the acc postion and slide into into the housing till it lock's in. Then reassemble everything. Let me know if you have anymore question's.

Hi--there is an elect plug on the end of the switch ass'y---is that what you unplug to get to the button? Also, I errored in the numerical grade on the response--had not done it before--sorry BOB

Right under the column upper cover on the right hand side the connector's plug into the wiper switch if you unplug them right below them you will see a button sticking up threw the ignition housing depress the button and the cylinder will slide out. Let me know how it goes.
