I left the headlights on and drained the battery. The car would not start, tried jumping, recharging battery, etc. The engine would turn over, start to fire and then quit. Believe the security code is the issue. Have went through several variations of trying to get it to reset. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

We should start with checking for codes as you may have an issue with the theft module/BCM. Here is a guide that will help with pulling codes:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

If there are codes we can go in that direction, otherwise please review this guide to see if any of these methods work:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-reset-a-security-system

If they don't then I am attaching the info about the system that we will need to run through to determine what the issue is.

However, if there is an issue here, there should be some codes to point us in the right direction.

Please let us know if you have questions and what you find. thanks
