I have a 2001 saturn SC1 and the engine light has come on, it does not turn off, even if you erase it. My dad who is a mechanic has the machine that reads the computer and nothing comes up as to what is wrong with it. Do you have any idea what is wrong with the car? We tried replacing gas cap but it still is on.
Mileage is 185,368 kms
Engine is 1.9L 4 Cylinder

Hey Ash,
The SES light will keep reseting as long as the problem exist. If the trouble code/s does not show it is probably a manufacturers code. It will have to be diagnosed by the dealer.
