Saturn SL2 twin CAM

Died on highway. Replaced bad coil. Now won't start. Flodding terribley in 5 or 6 rotations. Spark is good. All scantool readings look good. Rpm reading present on crank. But no asych pulse regeristing--whatever thath is.

If it died going down the road I would still check the crank position sensor.
Has the coolant temp sensor ever been updated to the brass tipped model from saturn?
