I have a '96 Saturn Sl2 with 144591mi, a 16 valve twin cam (Sorry thats what i read off the actual engine. I dont know where my manual for it is), and its an automatic. When I go over 10mph my steringwheel shakes violently and I hear this horrible popping noise. It kinda sounds like an automatic gunfire from a movie but just not deafingly loud. When I let the stering wheel go driving at 10mph the wheel jerks to the left violently. It feels like my front wheels are shaking when I drive. I think it has something to do with my CV Joint but im not sure. Do you have an idea as to what it could be?

Get the half shafts/axles check and wheel bearings.
