I have a Saturn L200 2.2L 2001 66,000 miles. I can be driving along and the clutch will go all the way to the floor and we can not get the car out of gear unless we shut of the car. We can bleed the lines and we get the clutch back but with time we lose the clutch again. When I bleed the clutch lines we can not get all the air out of the lines. I replaced the master cylinder but every time we pump the clutch it seems to be sucking air in. PLEASE HELP

Hi there,

If you have replaced the clutch master cyl already, just check under the rubber boot of the slave cyl, if there is fluid there replace as well, make sure that all the clutch lines are tight, push pedal down and crack open pipe at master cyl, expel any air?Fluid and do up then release pedal, do this untill there is a good stream of fluid, repeat at slave cyl, try bleeding into a clear container with a bit of fluid in it, and use a clear plastic hose, (windscreen washer hose is good) this way you will be able to see when the air is expelled. If still no good, you may have a faulty new master cylinder.
