We just bought a 1997 Saturn SL2 a month ago and have noticed that when it is warmer outside (eg.10 degrees) the car turns over 6-7 times before it starts but when it is cold out it starts right away. Also it seems to idle high in park and drive. We put new spark plug wires, a new ect sensor on it and the air intake was cleaned and fuel injection cleaner was added and the spark plugs looked new. The ect sensor was changed because the car was idling very high and erradically. The idling since is very even but still a bit high. If you take your foot off the brake the car will pull away. Please help!

It sounds like the fuel pressure regulator is bad please follow this test. https://www.2carpros.com/dia/test_fuel_pressure.htm bottom of the page. please get back to me. also check the engine for vacuum leaks, inspect all vacuum supply hoses.
