Have a bad window motor. Can only access by removing outer door panel. What's the trick to disconnecting linkage from door handle. Handle is only thing preventing removal of entire panel. Side mirror and inside door panel are also removed. Also, what's more irritating is the high idle when coasting. Idle never returns to normal when coasting on freeway. Takes time to spool down. Idle is around 1200 when parked. But when I let off accelerator idle drops very slowly while on freeway. Going to only get 10000 miles out of my brakes at this rate. I've even removed carbon buildup from inside throttle body and helped slightly. Idle screw is completey back off. Thank you!

I'll address the window motor in this reply.

You access the window motor via the door trim panel located on the inside of the door - not by removing the outer panel! Probably, you ran into a problem trying this since Saturn, in their infinite wisdom, decided you needed a special tool to remove this panel on 1995 and earlier models. From '96 on, you can just work carefully and achieve decent results.

Still, if you want to remove the outer panel and the handle is the problem, try this: Lift handle out and push the "center" of the retaining pins through the pins. You should be able to remove the pins and thus, remove the handle.

Hope this helps!
