I had my car tested and it came up with 301/304/507.
I installed a new camshaft sensor, checked the plugs- all .40, installed a new coil tower, new wires and plugs last year. But still the check engine light continues to come on. It occassionally goes off but always comes back on sooner or later. What else can I do? Does adding dielectic grease to all components make a difference?
Car has 122000km.

Cylinders 1 and 4 are both off the same coil. I would test it. Also make sure it is well grounded without any corrosion on the mounting plate, the bolts, and the coil towers. Use the grease to prevent corrosion and future problems.

What kind of plugs. Some folks have had problems with the platinum plugs. Can get a bad wire or plug even new.
Camshaft sensor? Crankshaft sensor maybe?

P0507 Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected .
Test the IAC valve. Clean it and it's port if it tests out OK.

Good luck and let us know. :)

It turned out to be the intake manifold gasket..was torn in two and allowing air to pass by..causing all my headaches. Thanks a bunch. Debbie
