When I switch on the windshield wipers the water pump works, but wiper motor doesn't. How do I get to the wiper motor to unplug the wiring harness to it and check to see if current is coming to it? This is the only way I can figure out to find out if it is the switch or the motor. Or do you have another way for me to check this out?

Hi Chet369,

Thank you for the donation.

The diagram shows the location of the wiper wire connector, Item # 11.

Wiper system is linked to the Body Control Module and trouble codes can be retrieved with the aid of a scanner. Try retrieving for trouble codes first, it can save you a lot of guess work and time.

To access the wiper motor, the wiper arms, hood seal and air inlet grill has to be removed.
