2002 Saturn L200 turn signals

My turn signals no longer work. Hazards work, breaks work, and I can change my headlights from auto to park and such. There was a funky noisse coming from the dash/defrost area the first day it happened. Next day they worked fine. 3rd day out again. Drove 500 mile home from vacation with no problems. 50 miles later they have gone kaput. What should I do, besides use my hazards everytime I want to turn.
