First the head gasket you have problem when consume antifreze or Misfire in one of the pistons.
About the oil maybe you have major leak under the car maybe at oil pan.
What kind of antifreze do you use on the Saab?
If you by at Walmart that antifreze is not for european cars but only for Amerikan cars.
You buy the antifreze on the internet or dealers if you like. The antifreze on Saab you have to change or flash every 2 years max 3 years. I use Blue is long life and I change every 2 years, but have and red that is for life.
