2003 Saab 9-5 oil light

my oil light is on, there is a large explaination point (!) and it beeps. I checked the oil, it is full.

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch/sensor.If abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearing.

u may have a blocked oil pickup screen ,[sludge ] get engine internals checked ,remove valve cover first [check for sludge build up inside engine ] if found remove oil pan & clean out sludge ,i have found out that a good oven cleaner works great for breaking down sludge ,good luck.
