2003 SAAB 9-5 auto trans issue

My auto trans has been shifting hard for a while, but tonight when I went to check the fluid, trans fluid shot out of the filler tube. Even when I shut the car off it was still pressurized and would flow out. What could possibly cause this condition?

Possibly transmission internal mounted pump faulty, causing no fluid flow through torque converter, check trans codes, codes will be set in system, u will need a replacement trans & perform repairs to said transmission, cheaper to replace with good used one.
