Can somebody please help me.

I have a Saab 9.5 SE 2.0ltr Estate and I am having problems - 160k on clock - full service history, oil changed every 5k and 16 dealer stamps inthe book.

When accelerating hard from a standing start the front of the car shakes/vibrates until I ease of the gas - If I accelleate normally its hardly noticable however at hard gas it feels like im driving ove a bad cobbled street.

Gut feeling is saying CV joints, track rod's etc etc

Could some onle please let me know thrir thoughts, I am certainly no expert myself however I have spoken to a garage who have said it could either be driveshaft/s or more likley a clutch problem however the clutch seems fine, have drop tested the clutch and does not slip etc and plenty of meat left on it

Im not convinced its a clutch problem as it feels like steering / drives etc and cannot forsee how the mechanic can say its more likley a £700 job over the phone without getting in the car - mechanic not a saab dealer but always been good in the past servicing my previous cars - Hyundai Coupe & MGF Convertible and Fiat Coupe.

Could someonle please advise and let me know the most likley cause of the problem along with estimated repair costs

Thanks

Rick

Hi
Like you can't see clutch being problem wrong symptoms. More inclined to think inner CV joint. Does shifter shake at same time? If yes CV.
In US $ @ $400
Hope this helps
