2004 SAAB 9-3 repair Question ignition?

Im trying to install a performance tachometer and trying to find a electronic ignition coil so i can connect it......any advice on how to install a tach on a 2004 SAAb 9-3 arc

The coils, and there are probably as many of them as there are cylinders. Are under that black shinny plastic engine cover! Hook it up to the #1 coil.
