I posted earlier about a possible water pump replacement as the result of a coolant leak. The work was done the other day and now, the dealer is saying I need a secondary valve replacement! This is totally ridiculous. Number one, there is very little mileage on this car and after the water pumpt was replaced, the car drives ridiculously now. There was no indication that I had a problem with my car. In terms of how it performed. I only knew there was a problem for the simple fact that I had to add coolant and then the engine light came on. When I picked up the car today, as soon as I drove off the lot, the engine light came back on and the car stutters. Nothing like this has ever happened. I really do feel that they've done something to my car but I can't prove it. Do you think I should be having these kind of problems with such mileage? If so, what does this 'stutter' mean?

Thanks,

Hi there,

G back and demand that they get this fixed, as if it was ok when it went in, they may well have disturbed a sensor or setting doing the pump, the check light will give a fault code when scanned tell them to do that first.
