It has a new throttle body, and fuel pump. The car had no fuel pressure and wouldn’t start. The car has fuel pressure now but stalls when the accelerator is pressed. It also will not restart if you manually cut it off once it’s hot. It won’t stall itself out, but just won’t restart itself. When I do get it started it will redline no issue and won’t shut off until I release the accelerator pedal, then won’t restart until it’s cold over some period of time. I also tried putting new plugs in as well.

Sorry I should add, I’ve tried a new MAF, I’ve disconnected the exhaust to check for clogged catalytic converter, eccentric shaft sensor does read the RPMs and did try cleaning it.

Hi,

When you checked the eccentric shaft position sensor, was the vehicle in a no-start condition? What you described sounds like that is the issue, so I just need to confirm that with you.

If it wasn't, I attached the diagnostics specific to the sensor. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

Additionally, the last pic includes the directions for the replacement of the sensor if needed.

Let me know.

Joe
