2004 Rover 25 price for water pump fixing

Water pump needs replacing. How much would this cost roughly and does it involve the timing belt

Yes you need to remove the timing belt . So I would advise replacing this and tensioner at the same time as the pump. Total cost at an independant garage should be between  3/400. Depending on their labour charges !
