How can you test a fuel injector for spray without taking it out? I have good compression and fire at the number one cylinder but a miss.

Hello, I am Danny.

Unfortunately, that cannot be done. What you can do is go to your local auto parts store and see if you can rent a noid light set. You install that into the fuel Injector harness and it will light and pulse if the injector is receiving a signal. If that is the case and you are getting a signal then it is possible the Injector is faulty/leaking/clogged/defective. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
