I cannot figure out why only the right rear turn signal will not work. The brake and backup light are working fine, but when the signal is turned on it just flashes fast and works on just the front of the van. The left side is fine. I have already changed the taillight harness and put new bulbs in, but didn’t change anything.

Okay, first I would check the fuses (8) that run the system which goes through the BCM, (yellow wire) Here is the wiring diagrams that show you how the system works, and which fuses run it. I would check the BCM right run signal output at the PCM using a test light to make sure the BCM is working and then either find the brake in the wire or just run a new wire.

Here is the BCM location as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Okay, I tried all the fuses. I programmed a new BCM, and I’m getting the same problem. Broken wire is all I can think of now. I’m waiting on an open circuit tester to come so I can maybe trace down this right rear turn wire, Ken would you happen to have a wiring diagram from the under-hood fuse box too, so I can start after it. Thank you.

Did you test the output of the BCM (yellow wire) to see if it blinks? I would test right at the BCM if it blinks run a new wire. Do you need more diagrams besides the ones I have for you in the above images?

I’ll try that then as soon as I get back to the van, so for the right rear turn it should be the yellow or dark green out of BCM. Thank you

Okay, finally got to get back to the van, I couldn’t get any current out of the dark green wire coming out of BCM. I used an open circuit tester from the right rear harness to turn wire and couldn’t find any breaks in the wire. Where should I go next? Thank you
