Right front axle carrier bearing, can I replace it without disassembling the transmission?

Right front axle carrier bearing in Transmission is bad, the axle wobbles. Can it be replaced without disassembling Transmission?

The transmission must be disassembled to change out the carrier bearings. Is the car making noise or is this just something you have noticed? This transaxle is little different, they have stub axles that protrude from the case, check out the images below to see what I am talking about. I have included the instructions in the diagrams below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
