When I hit the gas when it reaches 20 to 30 mph it revs up really loud and doesn't accelerate very fast unless I take my foot off the gas then back on its okay and once it gets past 30 mph it runs fine. I also have to push my brake until it hits the ground of the car, but not all the time either and I got my brakes changed recently. My car also makes a squeaking noise, don't know if that's related to the problem either but I can't really pinpoint why it's making the noise. Sometimes it makes a noise when I brake too fast, but it also makes a noise sometimes when I'm just coasting to a red light and don't have my foot on anything.

First question. When it gets to 20-30 mph and revs up really loud, to me it sounds like the transmission is slipping when it goes to shift from 1st to second, by letting off of the gas the transmission shifts. Which would be why you can accelerate fine after that. My thought on this problem would be a transmission issue.
Second question. The pedal going to floor sometimes when you hit the brakes sounds to me like there is air in the brake lines, bleeding it out will probably solve the problem.
Third question. It sounds to me like the rotors are bad, depending on how long the car was driven on bad brakes, it could have wore groves in the rotors. If this is the case, the new pads you just put on will soon be bad again.

Hope this helps you out some. Feel free to come back if you have more questions!

Sounds like your problem is two fold and one is a trans problem it looks like so have a trans guy check it. Also have your brakes checked.
