Intermittently the engine will idle high. It should idle around 700- 800 RPM. Every so often it will idle high any where from 1200 to 3000 RPM. It does not matter if it is hot or cold. Sometimes if I turn the engine off and restart it will be OK.

I tried that and it "seamed" to work for about 5 days. Next I am going to try cleaning the IAC Valve. I know how to get it off but, except for the two screws, I am not quite sure how to take it apart. Don’t want to make anything worse I could not find procedure on Internet. Thank you for your help
