Whenever I try to turn the key I hear a loud clicking sound but the truck won't "turn over".
I've had this problem for about a year (although I got this truck about a year ago).
It use to turn over after a few tries but has gotten progressively worse as time has passed. I am am positive it's the starter (sorry not a car person so I'm not real sure).
But as of tonight my truck won't "turn over" no matter how many tries I give it and I gave it about 100 tries believe me lmao. By the way, there is electricity running to the truck as my lights and phone charger work properly.
Moral of the story I'm trying to get a link or maybe someone who can give me info on how to replace it myself I would also like links to the exact part that would need to be replaced.
(Sorry for making yall do the research to find the parts and links on how to do it but I am not good at "internet and need assistance). Thank y'all so much and I hope there's a way I can repay you for your troubles.

Hello,

This is an easy and straight forward job. Just remember to take the negative battery cable off of the negative post on your vehicle's battery and tuck it away so it can't touch. In the diagrams down below I have included the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part number for your vehicle's starter motor and the factory instructions for the removal and installation of the starter motor. Also, here is a link to a guide on how to change a starter motor as well below:

Please go through these guides and get back to us with how everything goes.

Thanks,
Alex

When I search 56027702 I see an "ac" or "ab" after it and was wondering if that matters and also they say that starter is for 1998-2003 just asking if that matters. Also when I check if it fits on my truck they tell me it doesn't. Which one of these should I get?
