How do I get the emergency cable off of the caliber so I can move the caliber to put the new pads on?

I understand this, but I can’t get the caliber off the rotor because the emergency brake is on the caliber. How do I get the emergency brake off the caliber? No room to get the caliber off unless the cable is off the caliber.

Hello again,

Sorry about that. I figured that Acura would have included that in the instructions it was necessary to do when changing your rear brake pads. Nevertheless, I have included the information the you requested in the diagrams down below. Please go through the guide and let us know how it turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
