Replacing radiator

Taken off top hose, bottom house, hose to antifreeze reservoir and moved out of way, left and right 8mm upper screws, removed plate and screws left and right on top. What am I missing that it will not come out? Seems like there is something on bottom holding the radiator in, but I cannot find anything. The condenser and all the lines are intact and not connected to radiator. I took the battery and housing out to get more room but the radiator will not budge.

Good evening.

There are bolts holding the condenser and the transmission cooler at the bottom.

I have attached a picture for you to view.

Took apart the bottom no screws going up? I think I need more direction as to where the screw is. That picture looks like the top part of the radiator. Does the condenser also have to come out? My radiator only had water lines hooked to it. Thanks

Okay, can you lift up the condenser without the radiator moving?

There are rubber mounts on the bottom and they may be stuck to the radiator support.

Is anything lifting with it? Look around and see if the condenser is lifting with it.

Can you post a video or picture of what you see?

It seems to have like some kind of lip from the condenser that is holding it in.

Yep, that is what I figured. You need to hunt down that bolt I sent a picture to you. It is down the bottom.

Bottom meaning underneath going up into the radiator or side ways? There is a piece of rubber screwed up and under the radiator and condenser, will it hurt to remove it, there seems to be four screws.

I took all the screws out and could not get it out, sadly. Took it to the mechanic $95.00 they found out that the new radiator had a leak, so had to return that one and get another, all done now. Then temperature rising yesterday and I put a new thermostat on, runs great and thanks for all the help.

Hey Roy

Put new radiator, new fan assembly, new fan motor, new thermostat and still is getting hot. If I have the AC on and I am stopped at a light. I can go all day on freeway without overheating but the moment I put the AC on as well, overheats. And it is not losing one drop off antifreeze. Any ideas? Thanks, Sonia

Yes, I checked and put the A/C on fan works, then when temperature rises the fan starts with A/C off. With new radiator, new thermostat and new fan and fan motor, I believe the only thing left is the water pump? Sorry for the long delay I also drive a big rig, just now home. The car does not heat up until I run adding a lot and try putting the A/C on or I sit idle at a light. Thanks for all the help.
