I have removed the door skin and trim but do not know how to remove the glass and get at the motor to replace it. Or, is there a way to manually get the window back to the up position? If there is a way to manual get the window back up that would suffice for now. Is there any manual available that shows how to do this work?

Those motors are direct drive to the regulator hear to gear. Also the motor is riveted onto the regulator. So the glass has to come off. The window nuts need a special tool. If its not used there is a good chance you could break the glass. The nuts are usually pretty tight and a lot of the time they use loctite. They sell the tool online if you need help finding one.
