My gas tank was leaking so I bought a new one and replaced it. Now it won't start. I can hear the fuel pump when I turn the key on but after trying for a while we replaced the fuel filter and while we had the filter off we checked and no fuel is coming through the line. Any suggestions?

Have you checked for pinched hoses (both steel and rubber)? Are you sure you got the lines back on the same way they came off?

How much gas did you put in? If it's like my Chrysler tank, there's a bowl in the middle that fills with fuel coming back in the return line. That prevents it from running to the side and away from the pickup when you're low on fuel and going around a corner. Initially you need to fill the tank about 3/4 to get the fuel to run into that bowl. From then on, once the engine is running the return line will keep the bowl full.
