Replaced A/C heater control in dash

Mechanic checked everything all good but scanner tells us that the codes are reversed. This is my third controller. What's nexts?

Happy to help but need a little more detail on the history of this thing. Can you send me the codes that were in it before the controller was replaced and the codes you are having now?

Thank you for your reply. I don't have any codes. The garage explained to me about the codes when I picked up my truck. I don't have the the original controller. I got a other used controller and true the old one away. The garage ordered a new controller but will take five days for it to arrive.

Okay. That makes a little more sense as to why the code changed after you put the used on in it. That controller must have had that issue and when installed on your truck it fixed the first codes but gave you knew ones. Unfortunately that is common on used parts.

If there is an issue with the controller just reprogramming it will not fix it unless they are putting in software specifically to correct that issue, which is unlikely in this case.

Based on this information I would expect the new part to correct the issue.
