I’ve really enjoyed my 2015 Toyota Avalon—it’s been a solid car overall. The only downside has been the suspension, which doesn’t give the smooth ride I’d like. I’m interested in replacing the front struts and shocks with something that will make the ride noticeably softer and more comfortable. Any recommendations? And is this something that I can probably do or is it complicated? Certainly I can YouTube it.

Lots of people are doing they're own shocks these days to save money and such but the hardest thing is going to be finding the right shock for what you're trying to achieve the best advice I can acually give you is to take it into a suspention specialist shop /a shop that deals with suspention on a regular basis they tend to be a bit more k owlagable than shops that done do it vary often that way they can go over it with you and show you what's availible for your car and what sort of performance to expect from each type of shock
And give you a estimate for parts and labor and that should help you decide if you want them to do it or try it yourself the estimate should be free. So afterwords you can leave with the estimate and think about it for a few days before you make the decision
And in the mean time see if there any videos or any information on the subject online we have many articles and videos here on this site and also learn as much as possible about what it takes to get it done. That always helps alot
Best of luck Im sure youl make the right decision. Nice car btw. Be well "
