Repairing shift interlock solenoid plug repair. I have put new pins on the wires and don't know the orientation to put the wires in the plug. It's the plug that fits to yje shift interlock solenoid in the console shift gtp. I have been to pick n pull looking to find one. Looked everywhere online. Someone please post a picture of their ug or draw a diagram showing the wire colors.

Thanks very very much in advance.

I attached the wiring diagram for your review.

If you are going to replace the connector, here is a video that will help with how to cut and solder new connectors on.

Clearly this is a headlight but the process is the same for any connector.

This diagram helps my understand how the system works but does not show my how to rebuild the wiring on the plug itself that was damaged. I need to know where to push the wiring pins into he plug like orange wire goes into what of the 6 possible holes. Using the orange as a example. I need the locations of each wire as they are arranged on the plug that attaches to the shift solenoid actuator.I think there are 5 wires that were being used. 2 of them are not damaged while the others have been stripped and dressed with fresh pins needing to be installed as soon as I figure out where they go.
Thanks for your answer Kasekenny1 Thanks everyone for their time helping me get this 97 Supercharged GTP back in working condition.

This is not my picture but shows my issue well.

Oh. I understand. What I would suggest is not trying to mess with de-pinning a connector. Clearly it can be done but it is easier and better if we cut the wires one at a time and solder them onto a connector kit. Meaning you get a new connector with pigtail wiring and you just solder the wires together and you are sure to not have any issues with spread terminals. I have fixed many issues after I found out that someone depinned the connector. The reason is, you need specific tools that are the correct size for the wiring and you insert it in the front to release the lock and then pull it out the back. This is not easy for even the most experienced so it is best to just get a replacement connector and do a little soldering.

Does this make sense? Here is a link to what looks like is the connector you need:

Please double check this but it looks correct.
