my laguna as a tappin sound comin from the top end wot could it be

The hydraulic lifters (tappets). Add an engine oil treatment to the engine and use a slightly thicker grade oil in future. If it is really bad you can have the lifters replaced !

Just got the same with mine, bought it about a month ago so had not put ol in my self,  70 bill for the privallage of someone using cheap oil and at that we are unsure it will clear it mght need the tappets done which we are told is aprox  300 :( wasnt tapping loud when I had it but just got louder.
