1995 Renault Clio Manual 75k miles

my rsi cleo 16v 1, 8 wont start it ran out of petrol so I put some more in and cant get it started again has the car got a cut of button

There is NO cut off switch .. check the fuse it may have blown .. check/replace the relay and lastly check the pump is actually working .. it could have burn't out !!
