Remote start most the time it doesnt?

My truck will not remote start with the key fob. Sometimes it does nut most the time it doesnt. Sometimes it will halfway turn over but not fully and sometimes it will do nothing.

Hello,

This is a common problem with these trucks when the battery is low in the remote, have you changed it yet? If not start there. Also, if the hood is open or the hood switch thinks the hood is open it will not allow the engine to crank over and you will have a hood warning light in the cluster. This goes for the door "ajar" light as well. How new is the main truck 12 volt battery? This can cause issues as well, please get back to me with more information so I can help you fix it. This video will show you hoe to change the battery out on the remote.

You can take the battery to the auto parts store for testing, this will help.
