The set of 2 remote keyless were misplaced about 10years ago, I bought an replacement key and programed. The original 2 keys ( GM /LEAR 10443537) was found last week and try to reprogram again. The first one programmed okay. When reprogramming the second one was done-okay, but the first one is out as deprogrammed, reprogramming first again, the results same problems presented. Pleased tell me how to take care of this situation. Thank you very much.

Hi,

If you were able to program one, I suspect you have a scan tool that can access and communicate with the Body Control Module (BCM). If that is the case, you can program up to four key FOBS, but it must be done during the same session. In other words, you enter the system, program one, and before exiting the setup, you can program as many as you want.

Note that once the vehicle's BCM is placed into this function, the first fob you program will automatically erase all previously learned information.

If you look below, I have attached the directions for the procedure and highlighted what I think is the issue. Please take a look and let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe
