The motor is bolted down to the motor mounts. I am trying to get the transmission to meet up with the motor. There is nothing underneath the transmission holding it up and I need them to meet up on 5.7 liter engine.

There is a gap in between. The motor is lower than transmission with nothing underneath the transmission.

You need a floor jack to jack up the transmission and then maneuver it to the back of the engine.

The transmission is higher than the motor. How do I get it to meet up with engine if it is already higher than where it hooks into the engine?

You should not have bolted down the motor. You need to release the motor from the mounts and raise it up and change the angle, tilting until you mate it with the transmission. The engine sitting in the mounts is the last thing you do after bolting the transmission to the engine.

Did you release the engine and get it mated to the transmission?

Changing an engine is a huge project.

Look at about halfway for connecting the engine to the transmission.

Do you remember me? Anyways. We got the motor all swapped and running. It was running for a few weeks with no problems. Unfortunately now we have a problem. The truck will not start. There is no sound when I turn the key. All the accessories work. Acting like battery is completely dead when I try to start it. I can jump-start it and it will stay running maybe 5 minutes. I thought it might be the alternator so I have switched that with a new alternator. Still not starting. Its a 1995 Chevrolet Suburban not a 1993. So long story short. Truck not starting. Help please no noise from turning key, no fire up, changed alternator and still nothing. Suggestions?
