Hey guys, I have the vehicle listed above Limited. The A/C gets cold but not as cold as it should. Especially during 100 degree Texas heat.

I took it to a shop and they said it's charged correctly but the re-circulation door/motor is bad and needs to be replaced. They quoted me $800.00, which I can't do right now. It's a reliable and highly rated shop.

How hard is this job to DIY and is there instructions somewhere? I haven't had any luck finding any.

Thanks!

Hi and welcome back.

Here is the information we have on this. Base on that I would say their price is very steep. The first diagram is labor time for the job. You would be the second one down at 2.8 hours.

The second diagram is the location of the part. It is A14.

I hope this helps you out. Let us know if you need anything more.

Rich.
