Rear shock broke through the interior. Is it a fix or a scrap?

Hard to say with out seeing the damage first hand if you can, get it to a panel shop and get a quote on repairs. I feel that it should be okay to fix.

Body shop should be able to repair it. It is a common issue with those and Escapes. The mounting area rusts out and the strut pushes through.
